We call it adventure so not to face what it actually is; jumping towards death in a desperate attempt to feel alive. But, down here in the dark, you feel more dead than alive. Hollow on the inside from eating only dirty rats and drinking only vile magic potions. Rummaging through the pockets of dead gnolls, you dream of all the things you'll be able to buy when you return to the surface. But deep inside, you know you'll never return. There is no life here. Only death. And when death finally comes for you, you'll welcome it with open arms.
